Members of the Organized Fishermen of Florida. are chiefly of commercial fisheries organizations and their members, or individuals. Members are provided select advisories and announcements pertinent to current events and may participate in OFF activities and the development of research and advisory programs.
Florida fishermen catch a lot of the nation’s supply of grouper, pompano, mullet, stone crab, pink shrimp, spiny lobsters, and Spanish mackerel. All of the nation’s supply of spiny lobster and 99 of the stone crab supply comes from Florida waters. Florida seafood sales impacts $650 million.
